About BID Enterprises:
Dream it.
After 10 years in the Engineering Design Industry, Owner Lee Cox was faced with a difficult decision as many Americans were in 2020. As the Covid-19 Global Pandemic closed the doors of so many businesses, and halted construction on projects large and small alike, Lee decided to take a chance and follow his dream of becoming a 5th generation business owner. BID Enterprises was founded with the idea of designing and creating innovative and uniquely precise facilities within the industrial and engineering framework. By providing structural and safety solutions for some of the country’s largest industries, Lee’s unique talents and passion will provide a special confidence to any project.

Grow it.
Born into entrepreneurship, BID Enterprises is here to help make your dreams become reality. We may just be that “Blessing In Disguise” you’ve always been looking for.
Cox Family Entrepreneurial History:
Great Great Grandfather Amos Cox opened Cox Family Lawn and Garden in Beloit Wisconsin in 1918. The family specialty was making your home, feel like home. Nothing says Home like a lawn full of lush green grass right!? Amos Cox passed the business to son Byron, who took Cox & Sons Lawn and Garden to new heights. Technological advancements and the new thriving economy post Depression and WWII gave the business the opportunity to grow. Grandfather Robert Cox ultimately made Cox Lawn & Garden a community staple from the 1950’s to the end of the 80’s. From guiding large at home projects, to making sure you had a special Christmas ornament for the tree, Grandpa Robert always made your visit to the store special. Before his death in 1996, Robert Cox was inducted into the Beloit Hall Of Fame for his dedication to community improvement. His legacy and the entrepreneurial spirit continues today, as Father Rod Cox, owns and operates Wausau’s own Cox & Associates Architects and Planners. Today Lee strives to honor that spirit, and continue to provide a service unparalleled in the industry. BID Enterprises can be that, “Blessing In Disguise” you need to make your vision become reality.
